Floor slabs protruding from the tower, commonly called “nose-slabs”, are beginning to be repaired on floors 45, 46 and 47, on the northeast, southeast and northwest columns. This work is essential to properly secure the new concrete panels which will then be installed in these locations. This will likely cause significant noise on these floors as steel components will be sawed and concrete will be broken.
